Dear Parents and Students,
I am proud and fortunate to be able to teach your child the art of classical ballet! Harmonic Motion School of Classical Ballet is an environment like no other. Your child will not only learn to appreciate the art of classical ballet and the music that flows from it, he/she will develop a love for ballet that will remain forever. I promise to provide your child a safe and positive environment that will encourage him/her to always do their best in every aspect. The nurturing lessons that your child will encounter will last a lifetime!
Teaching classical ballet is a 50/50 agreement between teacher and student. In the ideal situation, the teacher and the student give equally in order to develop the dancer to his/her full potential. If the dancer follows all of the guidelines and rules at Harmonic Motion, he/she will live an injury free life and an injury free career
a professional dancer.
I am honored and thrilled to have the opportunity to become your child’s teacher and look forward to opening the door of classical ballet and the opportunities it will bring in your child's life!
President and Artistic Director
Harmonic Motion School of Classical Ballet
I began my dance career at age 5 in Greenville, Texas and began choreographing steps at age 9 for my mother, who was a music educator in the Greenville school system. In 1987, I received a Bachelor of Science in Dance from Texas Women’s University graduating Cum Laude. While at TWU, I was also a ballet soloist. In 1993, I received my Elementary Certification from Texas A&M University – Commerce and taught English and Music for several years in the Texas and Arizona school systems.
Beginning in 1999 until 2004, I was the Director of Dance and a licensed Kindermusik Instructor for Joy School of Performing Arts in Glendale, Arizona. During 2001-2003, I taught and performed for Conservatory Ballet in Arizona and studied ballet pedagogy under French-Canadian ballet mistress Madame Nicole O’Kelley.
I have written, costumed and choreographed original children’s ballets including The Girl Who Loved Wild Horses and Believe, in which the students of Harmonic Motion School of Classical Ballet have the opportunity to be featured. In 2006 and 2008-2011, students of Harmonic Motion participated in The Willis Ballet’s Classic Russian Nutcracker starring The Saint Petersburg Classic Ballet Theatre of Marina Medvetskaya. Beginning in 2012 and each year thereafter, I successfully produced the Classical Russian Nutcracker starring Harmonic Motion Ballet
I attended the Annual International Teacher’s Congress taught by the leading authority on Teaching Method, Prof. Peggy Willis I was honored to host the 2014, 2015 and 2016 conference at Harmonic Motion. I currently work with her sister, Sheila Kleiman to continue her work in promoting and teaching this valuable curriculum.

Harmonic Motion is proud to be in the direct Russian lineage of Classical Ballet. I teach from organized lesson plans to ensure that it is correct in the style of classical dance based on the exact lessons taught at the Vagonava Choreographic School in Russia. This teaching method has been carefully put together by Agrippina Vagonava and the teachers succeeding her in the Russian lineage. Teaching Method is based on scientific studies of the human form. There is nothing that is left to opinion or discussion in Teaching Method. It is based on scientific studies of the human form and has been medically and kinesthetically researched and proven to develop the professional dancer. We are proud to have a perfect record of NO INJURIES in our school’s professional program.
Nothing is superfluous everything that I require your child to do is needed and necessary in order to develop correctly.
